Our Security Profession is divided into two key areas: Protective Security and Cyber Security. Together, these teams ensure that DE&S remains safe, secure, and resilient in the face of evolving threats.

The Protective Security Team is integral to maintaining the safety and resilience of DE&S. This team of experts ensures that departmental security requirements are met, organisational resilience is enhanced through business continuity management, and security risks are identified and mitigated. They also oversee the physical and tactical resources needed to protect our sites and respond effectively to security incidents.
